CTMH Make Waves Be You Layout

My "Be You" layout is my third in the set of four double layouts created using the CTMH Make Waves paper Suite.  To complete this layout, I have continued to use the same exact Make Waves paper packet, Make Waves Complements, Make Waves Shimmer Trim and Make Waves Sequins and Gems as with the Shine layout and the Magical Day layout  as well as the last, not yet published layout.  That's four double layouts using just one set of everything!

Aren't those Make Waves Gems just so glittery?  To order these products and so many more, feel free to click here.  See you very soon for the fourth installment of my CTMH Make Waves layouts!

CTMH Make Waves Shine Layout

My second Make Waves Layout is a little different than the others.  I wanted to steer clear of all of the mermaids for a bit.  So, I stuck to a more general feminine theme with my "Shine" layout.  One again, I used the Make Waves paper pack, the Make a Waves Complements and the Make Waves Sequins and Gems.  One common theme with all four of these layouts that you might be starting to notice is that there aren't Cricut cuts!  I know, that's kind of unusual for me, but I went old school this time with straight cuts resulting in easy to reproduce layouts.

CTMH Love Letters and Cards

Have you heard about the stunning Love Letters being offered by CTMH for National Papercrafting Month?  I just got mine and put it together today.  It's simple, you punch out the flower petals, layer them to form flowers, and adhere it all together.  Easy peasy!  Here is my completed project.
After I completed my Love Letter A, I had so many flowers along with two banners left.  I decided to put them to use making four pretty cards.  I built the cards using CTMH Chelsea Gardens Picture My Life Cards cut from the paper pack.  I also added some leftover pink patterned card stock from the Make Waves paper pack.  I hope you like them!  Be sure to get your own Love Letter(s) before they are all gone!!!

CTMH Make Waves Magical Day Layout

CTMH Make Waves Magical Day Layout
I think that I might have found my creative mojo again!  Do you ever go through creative slumps?  It's not fun.  I think this one was brought on by the holidays, lots of snow days and having to cut 14 Flip Flap kits that each cut up 12 pages of paper, all for a big class that I gave over the weekend.  Now that it is all behind me, I felt like having a little fun.

The cold and snow in Northern NJ has been brutal, so I decided to play with happy paper that reminded me of warm summer days.  The new Make Waves paper suite was just what I needed.  I created 4 two paged layouts, and I am happy to share the first layout with you today.  It is my Magical Day layout.

It is made by using the Make Waves Workshop Your Way, although I did not create the suggested layouts, and went my own way with it.  You could also purchase the Make Waves Paper Packet, Make Waves Complements, Make Waves Shimmer Trim and Make Waves Sequins and Gems separately if you wanted to skip the WYW. It's completely up to you.

Joyful Stars January 2018 Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  I am a little late getting my post up for the Joyful Stars January 2018 blog hop, and I apologize for that.  If you have arrived here from Betty's blog, you are on the right path.
I am sharing a card that I made recently with the Christmas Paper Doll stamp set and Thin Cuts.  (She is still available!)  I wanted to give her a Valentine feel, so I put her against foil embossed heart paper from our Silver and Gold paper packet (also still available!) and pink rose paper from our Whimsy Fundamentals paper pack.  I colored my Valentine Girl with our ShinHan Markers and finished her off with Bashful Pearls for embellishment.

Thanks for visiting me!  Now, please hop along to see what the very talented Debi has in store for you on her blog, That Might Look Good on a Card.

New CTMH Seasonal Expressions Idea Book is Here!

The new Seasonal Expressions Idea Book is here, TODAY, January 1, 2018!  Here is the Artwork that is featured on the cover.
Click here to view the Seasonal Expressions.
There are four new paper suites featured in this catalog.

Chelsea Gardens

Gimme Some Sugar

Make Waves

 Stargazer

I really think all four lines are really cute, but I do have a stand alone, hands
down favorite product line in this catalog, and it has more to do with organization than it does crafting.  A real shocker to me too!  It is our new Designer Travel line.  Here are some photos:

Why do I love this system?  I already have a We R Memory Keepers rolling tote that I bring to crops, but it is getting floppy in its old age, and honestly, I can't easily lift it when it is full due to some health issues.  So, I bought the Cricut brand rolling tote set.  Although it is amazingly constructed, it must weigh 20 pounds without a single piece of paper in it.  I so can't lift that with many supplies in it!  The new CTMH Designer Travel organization system is modular, and I will be easily able to transport my supplies to and from crops because I don't need to lift it all at once.  And it is meant to organize everything.  I love that idea too.  What are you most excited about?  Check out the catalog link above to look it all over!

CTMH Chelsea Gardens Cards

Happy New Year!  As I sit here trying to keep warm on this single digit day, I am dreaming of Spring.  So, I wanted to share 3 cheerful cards that I made with the brand new Chelsea Gardens paper suite by CTMH.  Today is its debut in our new Seasonal Expressions catalog!   All three cards were made with Chelsea Gardens paper,  the Chelsea Gardens Cardmaking stamp set, and Cream Ribbon.  I stamped each image in Archival Black Ink and then outlined with our CTMH Watercolor Pencils.  I then did something different, I blended the colors with our Clear Shimmer Brush.  I love this technique soooo much!  I just couldn't capture the shimmery sparkle that is on each colored image in real life.  Here are the cards, please feel free to Pin them!
